Movement in my portfolio in Jan:-
Sold:- Nil
Bought:- AIMSAMPI Cap Ind Reit, Kep Infra Trust.
Dividends collected this month: $410.69
Total dividends collected in 2018: $410.69
2018 avg dividends/month: $410.69 [175.8% up cf. 2017]
Boring process of building up my passive income portfolio brick-by-brick (bit-by-bit).
Comments:
1. STI briefly breached 3,600 this month, but did not manage to stay above it.
2. Received an advance dividend distribution from AIMSAMPI Cap Ind Reit in Jan, so it is really not a 175% increase in dividends.
3. Sembcorp Industries turned green after so many months in red.
4. Current worst performing counter: Duty Free Int'l (17.1% unrealised loss).
Time flies and 2017 is gone. All my tradings are done and all dividends are collected. It is time to review my portfolio's winners and losers in 2017.
Top Dividend Contributors:
1. Starhub (8.76%):
- Starhub is the top dividend contributor in my portfolio.
2. SGX (8.64%):
- SGX has dividend payout every quarter, almost like a REIT.
3. SPH (6.62%):
- SPH has turned red in my portfolio.
Dethroned: Saizen Reit (2016).
In 2016, the top 3 dividend contributors accounted for 35% of my total dividends. In 2017, the top 3 dividend contributors accounted for just 24% of the total dividends. So, more diversification achieved.
Next, some New Year fun and amusement.
Dividend Yield Winners (龙虎榜):
1. AIMSAMPI Capital Industrial Reit (7.79%):
- Steady stream of dividends from the reit.
- Probably will get more in 2018.
2. Accordia Golf Trust (7.65%)
- One of my tiny holdings.
- Probably will get more in 2018.
3. Silverlake Axis (7.07%)
- One of my tiny holdings.
- Probably will get more in 2018.
Dethroned: Saizen Reit (2016).
Dividend Yield Losers (老鼠榜):
1. Bukit Sembawang (1.58%):
- BS got first place because I added the bulk of BS in Dec and missed most of the dividend payouts for the year.
2. Sembcorp Industries (2.31%):
- Dividend cut...
3. UOB (2.59%):
- UOB is here because of the huge increase in its price.
- More than $26 already. Why I didn't buy more when I have the chance?
Dethroned: Mapletree Commercial Trust (2016).
A return gain or loss will only be realised when I sell. The current unrealised return winners and losers:
Unrealised Return Winners (英雄榜):
1. SGX (82.8% gain):
- This is one of my foundation stocks and will remain for keep.
- SGX retains the trophy for this category.
2. SATS (63% gain):
- Will stay for dividends and growth.
3. Suntec Reit (60.4% gain):
- Don't really know why Suntec went up so much.
- Will stay for dividends.
Unrealised Return Losers (狗熊榜):
1. SIA Engg (20.2% loss)
- Price continues declining after exit from STI.
- Still pondering whether to add more or not?
- SIA Engg retains the trophy for this category.
2. Duty Free Int'l (20% loss)
- I probably should not have wandered outside the mainboard.
3. Sembcorp Industries (9.1% loss)
- SCI is lagging behind Keppel Corp in stock price recovery.
- May probably average down.
Wishing everyone Happy New Year and a Prosperous 2018.

Movement in my portfolio in Nov:-
Sold:- Nil
Bought:- CapitaLand Mall Tr, Keppel-KBS US Reit (IPO), Cromwell Euro Reit (IPO), FCOT (DRIP).
Dividends collected this month: $1,738.82
2017 avg dividends/month: $1,124.17 [4.4% up at this stage cf. 2016]
Boring process of building up my passive income portfolio brick-by-brick (bit-by-bit).
Comments:
1. IPO luck? Including the NetLink Trust earlier, it is a "Turkey" for me. The downside is I have more and more small counters.
2. Current worst performing counter: Duty Free Int'l (21.5% unrealised loss). My only counter outside the mainboard.
As STI is moving steadily upwards and also because of the very busy work schedule, I didn't check my portfolio since the end October update.
It was a pleasant surprise that when I logged in yesterday, I found that my total portfolio value has crossed 300K for the first time in my investment journey.
While it has been a hard and bumpy ride reaching the 250K milestone in January 2017. It is all plain sailing getting to the 300K milestone now at November 2017.
I will activate auto-pilot mode from now on.

Movement in my portfolio in Sep:-
Sold:- Nil
Bought:- SATS, UOB (DRIP), Cache Log Trust (Rights).
Dividends collected in Sep: $488.16
2017 avg dividends/month: $1,111.85 [1.2% up at this stage cf. 2016]
Boring process of building up my passive income portfolio brick-by-brick (bit-by-bit).
Comments:
1. Not a good month in September. Many counters declined.
2. Current worst performing counter: Duty Free Int'l (15.7% unrealised loss). My only counter outside the mainboard.
