Movement in my portfolio in Jun:-
Sold:- Nil
Bought:- Frasers L&I Tr (Rights), UOB (DRIP), SGX, Astrea IVB4.35%.
Dividends collected this month: $1,359.68
2018 avg dividends/month: $1,186.08 [17.1% up cf. 2017]
Boring process of building up my passive income portfolio brick-by-brick (bit-by-bit).
Comments:
1. My REIT counters are in better shape while my portfolio was weighted down heavily by Starhub, SPH, SingTel and a few other STI counters. Took the opportunity to collect more SGX.
2. Window dressing last day of June returned my portfolio to positive territory (not counting dividends collected). Trade war starting?
3. Current worst performing counter: Duty Free Int'l (36.1% unrealised loss).
I have subscribed to and received allocation to the Astrea IV Private Equity Bond.
The issuance of Astrea IV Bond is the first time that a private equity bond is made available to retail investors on the cheap. This allows me the opportunity to venture into the bond asset class.
I think very likely this signal the open of the floodgates and we will see other bonds issuance in the near future. With the rising interest rates environment, we may see some higher yield bonds.
However, less risk does not mean no risk, and we shall only invest with money that we can afford to lose.

Movement in my portfolio in May:-
Sold:- Nil
Bought:- Frasers L&I Tr, Frasers Comm Tr (DRIP).
Dividends collected this month: $2,974.38
2018 avg dividends/month: $1,151.36 [11.4% up cf. 2017]
Boring process of building up my passive income portfolio brick-by-brick (bit-by-bit).
Comments:
1. Bumper month in May. However, just missed my $3K estimate as ParkwayLife Reit pays dividend in June this year.
2. Current worst performing counter: Duty Free Int'l (36.7% unrealised loss).

Movement in my portfolio in Apr:-
Sold:- Nil
Bought:- NetLink NBN Tr.
Dividends collected this month: $0
2018 avg dividends/month: $695.60 [26.1% up cf. 2017]
Boring process of building up my passive income portfolio brick-by-brick (bit-by-bit).
Comments:
1. Big fat "0" dividend in April.
Well, a good rest in April for the dividend harvesting in May. Likely around $3K for me in May, as many of my holdings are
paying dividends.
2. Current worst performing counter: Duty Free Int'l (31.7% unrealised loss).

Movement in my portfolio in Mar:-
Sold:- Nil
Bought:-Ascendas Reit, Starhill Global Reit, Sasseur Reit (IPO).
Dividends collected this month: $312.24
2018 avg dividends/month: $927.47 [26.1% up cf. 2017]
Boring process of building up my passive income portfolio brick-by-brick (bit-by-bit).
Comments:
1. Four-in-a-row success with the Sasseur Reit IPO. However, this is against my usual rule of avoiding China REITs.
2. Starhub and SPH, two of my original foundation stocks, performed badly and turned red. At one time, they were about 40% of my portfolio. Now, they are less than 10% and I hope they can recover like Keppel Corp.
3. Current worst performing counter: Duty Free Int'l (30.3% unrealised loss).

Movement in my portfolio in Feb:-
Sold:- Nil
Bought:- SingTel
Dividends collected this month: $2,059.48
2018 avg dividends/month: $1,235.09 [32.6% up cf. 2017]
Boring process of building up my passive income portfolio brick-by-brick (bit-by-bit).
Comments:
1. After the high in January, small correction of STI this month. A timely reminder of the pitfall in the stock market.
2. Sembcorp Industries returned to familiar red territory.
3. Current worst performing counter: Duty Free Int'l (18.6% unrealised loss).

Movement in my portfolio in Jan:-
Sold:- Nil
Bought:- AIMSAMPI Cap Ind Reit, Kep Infra Trust.
Dividends collected this month: $410.69
Total dividends collected in 2018: $410.69
2018 avg dividends/month: $410.69 [175.8% up cf. 2017]
Boring process of building up my passive income portfolio brick-by-brick (bit-by-bit).
Comments:
1. STI briefly breached 3,600 this month, but did not manage to stay above it.
2. Received an advance dividend distribution from AIMSAMPI Cap Ind Reit in Jan, so it is really not a 175% increase in dividends.
3. Sembcorp Industries turned green after so many months in red.
4. Current worst performing counter: Duty Free Int'l (17.1% unrealised loss).
