Movement in my portfolio in Jun:-
Sold:- Nil.
Bought:- Nil.

Dividends collected in Jun: $138.50
2014 avg dividends/month: $425.83

An interesting coincidence that my top three holdings are exactly the same total amount.

Poor dividend intake for June and also coming July.  Can't wait for August to come...

  1. you have a rather large portfolio of stocks how do you do deep analysis on them to mitigate risk?

  2. Kyith,

Thanks for your visit and comment. I buy for long term (keep) and not bother about short term fluctuations. Only sell unless there is big problem with the stock, e.g. SMRT.

    1. ok so you sell when there is a big problem after the damage have taken place?

if your portfolio is this big, and you hold a full time job, i am surprised that you have the bandwidth to ensure that your passive income is safe. do share with us more on how do you anticipate big problems in your portfolio holdings cause i am starting to understand a large portfolio like this doesnt help small investor like me. also perhaps do share as well if its possible how passive this income can be. trying to achieve that but finding it very difficult

    2. Kyith,

That will depend on your own risk appetite and of course you do not put all your money in stocks. You can never be 100% safe. In other words, you invest the excess money that you can afford to lose, without losing slept and affecting your health.

Other than company bankruptcy, I presume you mean big problem=market crash. Actually it will be an excellent opportunity to buy during such time.

      Cheers.
