Movement in my portfolio in July:-
Sold:- Nil.
Bought:- Starhub.

Dividends collected in July: $0
2015 avg dividends/month: $599.55 [59.09% up at this stage cf. 2014]

Boring process of building up my passive income portfolio brick-by-brick (bit-by-bit).

Comments:
1. Big fat ZERO dividend in July.

2. July was a volatile month, especially for the last week, with STI fell by almost 5%.  My portfolio at end July received a minor hit as the increase in values of 3 of my top 4 holdings cushioned the drop in values for the Reits and O&G sectors.

3. Finally the second best dividend harvesting month August has arrived.  My hard works in planting my dividend trees are starting to bear dividend fruits.  August will be my second highest dividend harvest from my dividend plantation (other than May 2015).

  1. Hi PIF

The Aug month will be a very good month for us.

Good to see your top 4 holdings driving the portfolio for you, even as Keppel and Sembcorp take a recent beating.

    1. HI B,

I guess this is the advantage of diversification. The bad beating suffered by Keppel Corp, Sembcorp Indust and SIA Engg did not have much impact on the portfolio as a whole.

Actually I tried but did not manage to buy them in July. But then probably avoided the falling knife.

      Cheers,
      Farmer.
